How to Summarize Multiple PDFs with AI in PDFelement
To summarize multiple PDFs with AI in PDFelement, open one PDF, launch AI Chat, add the other PDF files, and select Summarize. PDFelement can analyze multiple documents in the same AI workflow and generate concise summaries, helping you identify key points across reports, research papers, contracts, or study materials without reading every file from start to finish.
Tip: If any of the PDFs are scanned or image-based, run OCR first so the text can be recognized before AI summarization. For important information, review the generated summary against the original PDFs before reusing it.
Step 1: Open AI Chat in PDFelement
Open a PDF in PDFelement, then go to the right side of the interface and click the AI icon. Select AI Chat from the available options to open the AI assistant panel.
Step 2: Add Multiple PDFs and Generate a Summary
In the AI Chat panel, use the attachment option to add the other PDF documents you want to summarize. Once the files are available in the same AI workflow, select Summarize to generate condensed key points from the documents. Review the result, then copy it for later use or choose Regenerate if you want a different summary.
