How to Check Form Field List
Checking the form field list allows you to ensure that all necessary fields are present and properly organized, making the form easier to fill out and user-friendly.
For this purpose, PDFelement provides powerful tools for managing PDF forms, including the ability to check the list of form fields in a document. This guide will walk you through accessing and reviewing the form field list in your PDF:
- Upon opening up the PDF form on PDFelement, tap on the “Form Field List” icon from the left navigation bar. From the side window, click “Downwards Arrow” icon to extend the list of fields available in the form.

- Other than that, you get the chance to select the “Stack” icon on the “Form Fields List” side bar to “Set Tab Order” to help you fill out the form faster. You can also choose “Recover Default Data” to restore fields that you might have deleted from the form.

- After checking the field list, as you “Right-Click” on any of the form field, you get a pop-up menu. From these options, you can take control of the form and optimize its appearance based on your preferences. Through this menu, choose to rename, delete, or copy the selected field for customization.
