• Scroll Direction: In this, you can view pages of the PDF file in two modes, i.e., vertical mode and horizontal mode.

• Tick the check box on the page to select it for the update.

• Once the page is marked for an update, rotate button is enabled.
• Click on the button on bottom floating bar to rotate the page in a clockwise direction.

The extract option allows you to extract the selected page/pages from the active PDF document and save them as a new document on the local device.

It deletes the select page from the active PDF document.

• It allows you to copy and share the selected pages of current documents.
• It allows you to add a blank page or add image file from photos.

Navigating PDF documents are very intuitive with PDFelement for iOS. Now you can easily edit the desired images in your PDF document file. This is an introduction to all the handy tools you can use to edit your photo using PDFelement for iOS. Along with editing PDF text, PDFelement for iOS also supports the basic editing of PDF document files' images.

With PDFelement for iOS, you can now easily add images to your document file to make it more attractive to read and understand these added images. An image supports the formats: jpg, jpeg, BMP, png, tiff, gif. to add an image to the PDF page.

• Click on the “Image" button currently present in the center of the device screen. Click “Add Image” and then select "Photos" from your device directly or choose "Camera" to take a photo. After taking a photo, click "Use Photo" to insert the photo into the file.
• Click and hold on the edge to resize as needed and move the image as required. Tap and drag the image to the appropriate location. Using the arrow keys on the keyboard will allow for precise movements of the pictures.

You can also delete or remove the picture from the PDF page with PDFelement for iOS. Select and long-press the image you want to withdraw from the PDF page. After pressing for a long, some options will appear on the screen where the delete option is also present. Click on the “Delete” option. Your image gets removed from your document.

If you want to duplicate any image in your document file, you have the option of copy and paste the pictures in PDFelement for iOS. It has simple steps; you need to select the image you want to copy elsewhere on the PDF document page and long-press the image. After long pressing, options appear on the screen, which also includes the copy option. Click on the “Copy”. Now, select the section where you want to paste the image, and a long-press will give you the “Paste” option.

If you want to change your images, such as rotate/replace/extract or crop. All options come with a single click. You need to long-press the image you want to edit with these options, and they appear on your device screen.

• Rotate: The Orientation of the selected image in the document is changed.
• Replace: New image added in the document file as a substitution to the previous one.
• Extract: Selected photo taken out from the PDF document.
• Crop: Adjust the image only to show the essential aspects of the form.

PDFelement for iOS also allows you to add or remove watermarks with a few clicks. For adding watermarks, you can add the text watermark or add the image watermark. Here are the detailed steps below.

To add watermark, you need to open your PDF document in PDFelement and then click the "..." icon to find the Watermark option and tap on it.

If you want to delete the added watermark, you can click the "..." icon and then tap on "Watermark". After that, click the "Remove Watermark" button, then the watermark will be removed in a second.

You can convert PDF to other formats, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PNG, JPG, Text, GIF, Pages, HTML, and so on.

• Open the PDFelement for iOS, and upload your PDF file you need to convert.
• Then click the "..." icon on the top-right corner.
• After that, select the "Convert" option in the drop-down menu.

• Then in the pop-up window, there are 11 types of formats, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pages, PNG, JPG, TIFF, GIF, Text, HTML, and RTF. You can select one of the output formats.
• Once selected, click the "Start" button.

Once the converting process finished, you can click the "Open in Convert" button to check the converted file.

• Click on "Blank Page" to add a blank page into the PDF document.
• Click "Scan" to add a scanned page into this PDF file.

• Select "Another File" to insert pages from your other PDF files into this PDF.

• Open the PDFelement for iOS, and select the PDF document you want to organize. Click on “Organize Pages” in the top-right corner. After that, all PDF pages will align in a line.
• You will find the “Extract” option on the top menu.
• Select a PDF page or select multiple pages as per your consideration by tapping on it to delete the page. Then, click the “Extract” to remove it.

Open the PDF document, click the "..." icon on the top right. Then select the "Crop" option.

• Now, in the pop-up window, you can crop the page by dragging the page box.
• Once done, click the "Apply" button on the top right corner. Or if you want to apply the cropped page to all pages, you can click the "Apply to all pages" button at the bottom.

• Open the PDF document and click the Comment" button at the screen's top-center. The panel will open with options, where you'll find the "Strikethrough." Tap on it and choose the color of your choice and then select the text to markup.
• Open the document file and click the "Comment" button. The panel opens, also has the underlining option present. Click on the "Underline" button. Now you can choose the color of your choice and text to underline.

A comment is a note on the document as an opinion or expresses a personal reaction. Comments are vital when developing PDF documents in association with other team members. They are used to mark areas in documents that need attention. You can add, edit, delete, and move the comments with ease in PDF documents using PDFelement for iOS. Also, you can change the property of the added comments just by right click or double click. In PDFelement for iOS, you can add "Text Comments", "Text Callout", "Sticky Notes".

You can give a text comment to indicate that section of the document content requires modification. It is crucial in a professional space where the team works on the same document; a comment works as a suggestion or note to another team member. To add Text Comments, follow the below steps:

You can use the "Add Sticky Note" feature to give instructions or leave your comments on the PDF page, which directs the readers to a specific area on the document. Below are steps to add sticky notes.

• Open the PDF document and click on the Comment tool and click on "Sticky Note" in the floating toolbar.
• Click on the PDF document where you want to sticky notes.
• You can tap on the sticky notes to edit and delete them.

Stamps can be a handy feature when you need to apply a date, a name, or a signature to a PDF, much like stamping a physical document. PDFelement for iOS offers built-in stamps and the option to create custom stamps, making it a versatile tool for your PDF needs.

Accessing and using built-in stamps is a breeze:

• Tap the "Fill & Sign" button, prominently located in the center of your device's screen.
• Next, select the "Stamp" tool from the secondary toolbar.
• Upon clicking the stamp tool, a variety of pre-designed logos will appear on your screen. Simply choose the one that suits your PDF document. You can resize the stamp by dragging it from one of the edge boxes to fit your requirements.

Customizing your own stamp is easy with PDFelement for iOS:

• Choose the "Custom" option within the "Stamp" tool.
• Tap "Create" in the new window that appears.

• This window allows you to personalize various aspects of your stamp, including text, date, time, shape, and color.

• You can even import an image to use as a custom stamp. Select "Import" within the "Custom" option, then browse your iOS device to choose an image.

• Your custom stamp will be saved in the "Custom" tab for future use, and you can delete stamps at your convenience.

• Choose the Comment and click on the "Shapes Tools" in the floating toolbar, and from the dropdown, choose the shape to add from the list.
• Click on the PDF page to draw the shape and drag to draw an arrow, line, circle, or rectangle. You can also change the thickness, opacity, and color of shapes.

These tools allow you to draw shapes or lines in the then PDF document with finger touch or stylus. These are very easy to use as well. Below are steps to draw free-flowing shapes in the PDF document.

• Click on the "Comment" in the toolbar and select the "Pencil" tool.
• Choose the color, thickness, and opacity of the pointer.
• Click and drag the pointer on the screen to create the image that you need.
• If you need modification, you can use the intelligent eraser tool to erase or remove the drawing's part to make changes.
• Select eraser, either partial or whole mode and reduce or increase the size eraser as per your requirements.

With optical character recognition (OCR) in PDFelement, you can convert scanned files or images into editable and searchable PDFs. To OCR PDF for iOS , you must install PDFelement and subscribe to the Professional version first. This feature can be performed only in the online mode.

OCR PDF supports the following languages: English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Romanian, Turkish, Russian, Polish, Czech, Dutch, Hungarian, Thai, Vietnamese, Swedish, Malay, and Indonesian.

You can create a PDF file directly from a paper document using the Scan feature of PDFelement before you start. If you want to OCR images, convert the images to PDFs first. Then, perform the following steps:

1. Open the scanned PDF file in PDFelement.

2. Tap the more icon in the upper-right corner, and choose Recognize .

The Text-only Recognize feature enables you to convert scanned PDFs to text files or extract plain text from scanned PDFs . To perform Text-only Recognize, you must subscribe to the Professional version of PDFelement first. This feature is available in both offline and online modes.

Text-only Recognize supports the following languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese Simplified, and Chinese Traditional.

You can create a PDF file directly from a paper document using the Scan feature of PDFelement before you start. If you want to recognize images, convert the images to PDFs first. Then, perform the following steps:

1. Open the PDF file you want to recognize in PDFelement for iOS.

2. Tap the more icon in the upper-right corner, and choose Recognize .

You can also tap Text-only Recognize from the Tools tab, and select the PDF file or image you want to recognize.

3. Choose Text Only and tap Next .

4. Select Document Language based on your actual requirement. By default, the system language will be selected. You can select up to three languages. Then, tap Next .

5. Wait a few seconds for the text to be recognized. After the progress is complete, tap Go to file , and you can go to the Home tab to find the text file.

You can search, correct, and copy the text in the text file. The accuracy of content is based on the resolution of your scanned documents. For example, handwriting recognition may have low accuracy in the current version.

PDF security includes features like encryption that ensure data integrity. It may be required to limit who can open, edit, or print a PDF document for security reasons. PDFelement for iOS supports setting an open password to your PDF files. Intended to differentiate an authorized user from an unauthorized user.

• If you're reading a document in a foreign language and come across text you'd like to translate instantly, select the text you want to translate directly within the document and tap the "Translate" tool available in the floating toolbar. • Open the program and select or choose the PDF document you want to print and click on the “Three Dot” icon button on the top-right corner on your device screen, to open for more options in it.
• You will see the print written when you go down the options. Click on the “Print” button, and print command options will appear on your device screen.
• In the pop-up print window, you can select the printer to print the document, number of copies, and adjust the range.

Sharing PDF documents via email is a breeze with PDFelement for iOS.

Step 1 Launch PDFelement for iOS and open the PDF document you want to share via email. Tap the three-dot … icon at the upper right corner of your device's screen. From the dropdown menu, select the Share option.

Step 2 In the popup menu, tap Share by Mail.

Step 3 Enter the recipient's email address and tap Send.

• Launch and open PDFelement for iOS. Select the PDF document file you want to share with Wondershare Cloud. Click on the three-dot icon button on the middle of the document file.
• Click on the “Upload” button, and you will see Wondershare Cloud listed on the pop-up window.
• Tab on the "Upload to "Wondershare Cloud" button on the middle bottom of the device's screen to start uploading.

• Launch and open PDFelement for iOS. Select the PDF document file you want to share and upload it to Google Drive. You can find the “Tools” option at the left column of the device’s screen.
• Click on the “Add Connection” button, and you will find the “Google Drive” option in the pop-up window.
• Tap on the “Google Drive” sign option, and you can upload the PDF document file to it.

To upload the PDF document files to OneDrive, follow the steps below.

• Launch the program on your device. Select a PDF document file you want to upload and save to OneDrive.
• After selecting a PDF document file, click on “Add Connection” on the left side panel at the top. After that, you will find the OneDrive option down there in the pop-up.
• Click on the “OneDrive” option. It will ask for signing in the OneDrive. Sign in OneDrive link with PDFelement for iOS. After signing in, now, you can review and send PDF files there.

• Launch and open PDFelement for iOS. Select the PDF document file you want to upload to Dropbox.
• Click on the "Add Connection" button on the program's left side menu on the device's screen. You will find the Dropbox option in add connection down the line.
• Click on the "Dropbox." After tapping on Dropbox, you will find the page showing the sign-in to Dropbox to link with PDFelement for iOS.
• You can sign in with the email and password, or you can sign in with Google.
• After signing in, you can upload the selected PDF document file to Dropbox.

PDFelement for iOS makes it easy to share PDF document screenshots with others.

Step 1 Open the PDF document in PDFelement for iOS. Take a screenshot using AssistiveTouch or another method on your iPhone/iPad.

Step 2 A window will appear, prompting you to save or share the screenshot. Click the Share button.

Step 3 Choose to share the screenshot via email or other apps on your device.

PDF element for iOS gives you the option of saving your document file on Notes on your iOS devices. You can follow below the steps for keeping your documents on Notes:

• Open the program and select or choose the document file you want to save in Notes.
• Click on the three dots on the top-right corner of the screen. You will find the share option down the line. Click on the “Share” option.

• Now, you will find more options for sharing your file, which also includes Notes in it. Click on the “Notes” and save your document file on Notes.
