A perpetual license is a license that does not expire, and it continues to authorize access to PDFelement indefinitely. You can additionally purchase "Software Assurance" on annual billing that gives you access to our technical product support team, billing support, and free, unlimited product upgrades.

2. Yearly Plan
Yearly plan gives you access to the product and services yearly as soon as your payment is processed. You'll be charged the annual rate stated at the time of purchase as one lump sum, plus applicable taxes. Your yearly plan will renew automatically, on your annual renewal date, until you cancel. Renewal rates are subject to change, but you will be notified of any change in your rate with the option to cancel under these terms.

Your yearly plan gives you uninterrupted access to new versions and releases of your entitled software: PDFelement or PDFelement Pro desktop software — including "Software Assurance" that gives you access to our technical product support team, billing support, and free, unlimited product upgrades.
By default, a subscription is set to automatically renew to ensure there's no disruption in your services and access to the product. Automatic renewal ensures that everything is taken care of in advance and allows time to resolve any issues with payment. You will be notified by email before your card is charged.

Your account billing date is set on the day you first buy something on subscription from Wondershare. From that day on, that's the date we'll charge your payment option if there are any pending charges like an annual billing for a software product.

Example: If you buy Wondershare PDFelment on April 25 then your account billing date is the 25th of the month next year. You'll only be charged for the recurring payment on the due date based on the billing cycle. Your subscription recurrence date starts on the day you sign up for that subscription, and that date can be different for each subscription.

When you purchased a subscription of Wondershare product or services, we will charge you at the beginning of each billing cycle allowing you to maintain access to the product or services. Subscription may cancel automatically after unsuccessful attempts to the bill the customer, and you will lose access to the product or services.
PDFelement comes with a perpetual license which is a 'traditional' model used to purchase the software. You pay for your software license up-front and have the right to use it indefinitely. Plus, we provide product updates free of charge.
If you are not enrolled with the software assurance plan, you will have an option to pay for an upgrade fee for future upgrades. The upgrade is a major program release (new version) featuring principal software improvements and new functionality.
