Open a copy of your scanned form

1 In the Quick Start Menu, click create PDF.

2 Select a copy of your scanned form.

Run the data extraction tool

3 Click the form data extraction tool inside the form section.

4 Select extract data from scanned PDF.

Identify form fields

5 Trace text fields with your mouse to create a form template.

6 Set unique text field properties (like name) in the right-hand menu.

7 Save settings.

Add forms you want to process

8 Using the add button, upload the identical scanned forms you wish to extract from.

Extract Data

9 Start the data extraction tool.

10 Click the finished button to jump to your .CSV Excel output file.

11 Verify entries.

And that’s it - You’re done!

Now you can start analysis, and you didn’t have to do all that typing.
