  • Go to the file menu and choose back up.
  • Select the schedule a backup option.
  • Click on the automatically back up when closing file box.
  • Enter the frequency for the backup.
  • Choose the suitable backup options in the QuickBooks backup window.
  • Then click on Ok.

How to Schedule an Unattended Backup


  • Select backup from the file menu.
  • Click on the schedule backup icon.
  • Press the new button.
  • Choose the suitable options in the scheduled backup window.
  • Click on Ok and save.

How to Backup QuickBooks


  • Log in to your QuickBooks as a single user and if you are already logged in, switch to single user from the file menu.
  • Click on the backup Company option from the file menu.
  • Click on the “create local backup” and select the local backup.
  • Click on options and choose where you want to save your backup.
  • Click ok and select next
  • Click save it now and then click on the finish button.
